Pedal 2 Pedal 2017-06-05T19:48:03+00:00

My name is Hannah Attenburrow and I established Pedal 2 Pedal in 2014 to share my passion for cycling, in particular the off-road muddy kind!

Anyone who has the drive to improve their performance and is open to advice can benefit from coaching.

If you would like to be better/faster/more skillful on a bike working with me, on a one to one or group basis will help you progress your fitness and/or skill level.

I am a British Cycling Level 2 coach and Level 2 Mountain Bike coach, Level 2 Road Cycling coach working towards my Level 3 qualification.

My background:

In recent years I have competed regionally and nationally in Mountain Biking XC and now have also competed in 12 and 24 hour races as well as finishing the Trans Alp bike race.

Trans Alp Stage Race

My bike and I have been to some incredible places in the UK as well as further afield to Switzerland, Portugal and Slovakia.

My favourite spots to ride in the UK are Dunwich forest, where my cycling journey began with my Dad. A little closer to home in Hampshire you can’t beat Queen Elizabeth Country Park, which is where my kids cycling academy is based.

My aim is to enable more people to experience the many benefits of cycling in a fun, safe and engaging way, whether you are looking to get out on the trails for the first time or want to nail those mountain bike techniques, let me help you achieve your cycling goals and get more from your sport. All abilities and ages welcome just get in touch.

Coaching in Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex, this area of outstanding natural beauty is a great place to learn new skills like trail riding and master new mountain bike techniques surrounded by picture postcard views!

Some of the lovely feedback I have been given:

Wanted to say thanks so much for Saturday lesson, Noelle LOVED it and so much more excited about riding her bike now, super.

Jennifer Machin, Noelle’s mum (2016)

My 8 year old twins completed 2 courses in 2014 with pedal2pedal and loved both of them. They learned useful skills, feel more confident on their bikes. Absolutely love riding the trails in the QE park. Thank you Hannah. They are looking forward to the Christmas dash.

Janice Jackson, Ella and Finlay’s Mum (2015)

Vinnie learnt to ride his bike with one to one sessions with Hannah, he was quite nervous about his bike but she has given him so much confidence and he came on extremely quickly she was very clear and he found the lessons fun and has since joined her group session which he absolutely loves! Definitely recommend!

Holly, Vinnie’s Mum (2015)

My 6 year old daughter was struggling with setting off unassisted, and general bike control . After a 1 hour one-to-one session with Hannah  , not only was she setting off on her own , but she was also braking safely and competently . I would recommend Hannah’s tuition to anyone with a similar situation to ours .

Esther, Orlagh’s Mum

The Pedal 2 Pedal level one course was well organised and well taught, Henry had a fantastic time – his ability improved and his confidence grew.  After the last session he came home and asked for a bigger bike which we got out of the garage and he is now using very happily.

Emma Winter, Henry’s Mum. (2014)

Ossian really enjoyed the course and his confidence on his bike increased massively. He learned all sorts of new bike skills and started to really enjoy cycling. The course was well-organised, comprehensive, good value – and fun. I would definitely recommend it, and Hannah as a coach, and will be signing up Ossian’s little sister for the next one!

Natasha Kirwan, Ossian’s Mum. (2014)

Thank-you very much for your superb coaching throughout the Fundamentals Levels 1 and 2 courses. Fred has the XC racing bug already, so get these key skills honed at a young age has already seen huge improvements in his technique and race ability. Here’s to a great 2015 season!

Seb Price, Fred’s Dad. (2014)

Many, many thanks for a really wonderful course.  I am so pleased we found you.  You have taught Benjamin (and me) so many new tips for his bike, it really has noticeably increased his enjoyment and his confidence on his bicycle.

Nicola Reid, Ben’s Mum. (2014)

Our son (8) and daughter (6) attended the level 1 fundamentals course in Autumn 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed it.  When we asked if they were interested in attending a Christmas festive event organised by Hannah, they were very excited, and will also be taking part in the level 2 course in Spring 2015.Hannah’s coaching style was perfect, building solid foundation skills with a healthy dose of fun and encouragement!
